Yes, picked up on the new laser scope last night whilst cruising the Burris page for other reasons. Since the Burris is made in the same factory as the Bushnell and the Nikon, look for the other manufacturers variants soon.

I'd reckon these scopes would be a great topping for a varmit 22/250 or similar.

A nikon one has been out for 5+years but it was only rangefinder with a Bullet Drop Compensation reticle (ie not smart like the burris)

It certainly amazed me,

Takes the fun out of long range and all the ballistics.. does it for you..

Not the best looking scope though..

The Nikon, Burris and Bushnell scopes you have linked to are the 1st generation of this product from the American manufacturers that have been available for some time. The Burris in the original post is the 2nd gen version and I'd reckon that the Nikon and Bushnell models will be out at next years Shot Show. They are all made in the same factory in the Phillipines.

haha!

Didnt take much convincing.. i reckon NIOA should have them in pretty soon, they already have the new Savage rimfire range.

Try order one in.

Laser range 550-800 yards based on reflectivity

Be very fun on some long range rabbits/goats or similar

I reckon they are going to be awesome these scopes. I just wish they had more magnification.

I dont mind about the objective I just would like a 6-24 or 6-18 even. Better than a 3-9 & really a scope for a deer rifle but I don't know whether or not I'll put it on the 243 or the 223.

I did a blog about this scope too at www.huntandshoot.com.au
