Nothing really compares to thermal, awesome tech.
My old Huntlight mostly gets used now mounted on my U/O shotty for shooting fox pups in stubble paddocks.
BTW those super roo prodjies arrived today, very much appreciated mate.

You built a good torch, they have no bullshit like some others have, just on or off, quality cree and a good tail switch.
I bought another brinyte , same basic platform but very different from yours, had multiple modes to click thru before turbo mode and then the unusable strobe and tail swich was "spongy".

That’s about the only time mine has gotten a run - on the shotty.foxkiller wrote:Nothing really compares to thermal, awesome tech.

Glad to hear they arrived. I actually logged on this morning to message you to see if they had.

Yeah mate that was my idea. Simple, reliable and easy to fix.foxkiller wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 8:53 pmYou built a good torch, they have no bullshit like some others have, just on or off, quality cree and a good tail switch.

By default the Chinese like to offer 5 modes and all that jazz. Invariably on a hunting torch you end up with a mode you don't want coming on.
I have modified a couple with the small but high current Osram Flat White LED and the throw is extreme!
