Hi, I find myself using the laser emitter more than the Houndlight these days. More because I’m lazy and can’t be assed switching them over in the mount. To be honest I don’t think there’s a huge difference between the two. The only downside is that from what I can see online, the laser emitter I have isn’t in stock (not sure if they are still making them). The DFK laser emitter they also make is supposed to be next level again.
As far as the x-sight goes, I’m still happy with it. They are still doing upgrades to firmware to fix bugs n stuff as they find them. The last one I installed resulted in the zero being lost so I had to sight it in again. That has happened on average every second update. Apart from that it’s great to use.
Will be taking it out tonight to do some cull work on some deer.
Cheers,
Rob

Rob. Thanks for the update. I've recently acquired the Pulsar Digisight 455. Avoiding the ATN software update experience was a big factor in my choice. The compromise of degraded picture at high power is frustrating when sighting in but the price point to avoid this is too high for me. It's pity the alternative now available for the Armasight Drone Pro 10x or 15x isn't competitive with the X pro or Digisight.

The Chinese brand "Pard" appears to be getting a strong following in UK. Maybe they will produce something equivalent to the Drone Pro at a reasonable price.
