savage bolt

Post by roger68 »

looking for a savage axis bolt, do they use the same bolt body as the other savage actions just with different handles as well cocking pieces? I can only assume the bolt heads are interchangeable. Any ideas?

It turns out the axis uses its own bolt tube, PTG don't make a body, Glades armory do but ship from the states. I joined the Savage shooters forum and hopefully have found a bolt. Thanks for the info. Will keep posted of what happens.
