That KS looks nice for a carry/walkabout rifle. Any idea if a #4 profile would fit? Will have to look into them a bit more.

It would be tight Ryan. A Rem magnum sporter fits nicely.

Thanks Jason. I might have to measure my barrel. Although I see the site for ordering asks what profile so will investigate some further. Then just need a color.

HS Precision was the winner in the end after talking to Les from Red hawk rifles. $380 to my door. 2.25lbs

I've had Bell and Carlson stocks before. The HS will be a new thing for me. I am pretty excited :D

Now to pick the Cerekote colour to go with the stock 8)

Nice one mate. The only complaint I had with my HS Precision was an annoying rattling noise inside the butt. In the end I had to remove the sling stud and put some slow drying glue on the end of a kebab stick and poke it inside the hole. Then I gave the stock a good shaking a removed the stick with bits of stock material stuck to the glue! Yes I was very determined. I hate rattles no matter how subtle! :D
