Are they any bigger/deeper???? Look different. I would love to have them a bit deeper so a whole .223 would be submerged when upright. I reckon they clean better when upright.

I got one today, I haven't tried an upright 223 but they take about 20 308 / 6.5x55 cases. They don;t come out blindingly clean but there is a lot less soot here and there. I think I might need to rinse the little buggers to get the residual soot out.
I will work out what works for me best. Most of my cases are very old and well used ( found one that went through my SLR which was destroyed in 96 ) so they may take many sessions to get clean.

I guess for $25 you can't expect too much. I'd want to be very convinced to spend more that $25....

Interesting link the the 6M BR site. There is a definite art to this. I might have to try some of the stuff mentioned to see how it works.

Guys,
I bought mine yesterday, thje unit does 35 off .308 winchester cases at a time just throw them in and cover with 600ml of solution { 50% vinegar / 50% water / 4 drops of dishwashing liquid and run for 23 minutes. work pretty good I think I'll be going back and buying another couple of these units.

Regards Rolf.

xa-coupe,
I do 3 lots, 100 cases approximately then throw out the solution as it is pretty diry by then so its pretty cheap as well. just rise cases in water, blow them out and dry overnight and they are ready to go.

Regards Rolf.
