Burris Fullfield II
Burris Fullfield II
Anything wrong with these scopes???
I have the fullfield II 4.5-14X42 AO with ballistic plex.
Looked hard at what could find in term of online information before settling on it - main positives are exceptionally High claimed light transmission (good for low light shooting) and ballistic plex (helps for doing holdovers) - in a much less cluttered way than the other plex's like Mil dot and Boone and Crocket....
Have had it for a few months now and so far mostly used it at the small bore range. Seems very good and clear even under lights - but really have not given it a hard work out. It is now being moved over to my Sako Quad for both range and field work
Some criticism on international forums about their service and occasioanlly about flecks of dust getting in the scope - don't know if they are the squeaky wheels though.
Mine seems good and I do like the reticule - the only limitation for my use is that the AO only goes down to 50 yards - so for me to do the offhand 25m competition I need to lower the power to around 7X. However most people will not be concerned by this and it is not at all unusual. In the field of course if shooting at that range you would have the power less than that anyway and for maximum light transmission to your eye that is also about where you would set it about that power as well
The same scope is also being branded as pentax
There are good deals on EBAY - which is where I bought mine.
