i just laybyed one of each yesterday .
the 3-9x50 will go on a savage 340c 22 hornet untill i get a new 22 mag . it will be used mainly
at night hence the 50mm objective . i will probably get one with the 4 plex cross hairs . thats my question 4 plex or accu range?
i usualy head shoot the hares & rabbits i'm wondering if the accu range sight picture will take up to much room ???? . ( as all the redfield scopes were sold out as well as the display ones ) so i didn't get to see ether one .
i picked up my scope & rangerfinder yesterday .
well for a budget scope i must say i'm very happy with how clear the lens are on the scope .
& iam very happy with the size & weight of the range finder also . weighing in at a huge 171 grams i see it as being a useful lil tool . after playing with it yesterday i see i have been guessing my ranges & there way off . i have been underestermating the ranges that i usually shoot at . what i thought was 250 - 300 meters would be more likely closer to 400 . wow i can't wait to take it out & really know what ranges are now . it just goes to show how good my old 6.5 x 55 is sighted in at 200 m .
