Would I be right or wrong in comming on about a possible double oxymoron
in "COMPLETELY RECOILESS FREE" ???? It does make for interesting reading
in a "FIREARM" description. Although he is right by legal definition in SA gun law.
Ah truly a descriptive delight.
Cheers Ray.

Airguns are not firearms! There is no fire. The people who keep this nonsense alive have probably never been inside an airgun and almost certainly have no interest in them.
It's just a matter of convenience.
"Comfortably numb"
Ah truly a descriptive delight.
Cheers Ray.

Having had a few a/gs apart over the years I agree entirely with you Lewis.
What still amuses me is that Gun shops will insist in using the descriptions of airguns as they do. The other reference to the SA gun laws is that Airguns/Rifles are classed as firearms in their defintion. It would seem that
the persons who wrote the regs did not know chalk from cheese either.

I thank Pink Floyd for "Comfortably Numb" but wish I'd come up with it!!
An airgun is no more a firearm than a push bike is a motor vehicle.
It's absolute rubbish and I am so sick of hearing it.
Well,my opinion of most gunshops has not changed after more than 30 years when it comes to airguns.
If they honestly believe that an airgun is a firearm, you most certainly would not them working on your airgun!

Do you think they'd have some silicon airgun oil to throw in with it?

Absolutely! Toss in some Burrs Threeo (is that how you spell it?) or RemOil.Definitely grab the ugliest .17 cleaning rod with Bore Solvent etc.
I know NOTHING about powder guns.
