Hi everyone.
Just a poor old 1984 FWB 127, with Maccari Mongoose spring and seal. Have piston buttons and a Maccari machined trigger blade on order for it. It's in really good nick, I've had it since new. 13 ft/lbs with Superdomes and Superpoints.

Perfect for shooting bunnies around the house. not as quiet as a springer but not what I would call loud, def quieter then a 22lr. Plenty of power for headshot bunnies, Drew from Aus airgun has even head shot foxes with his.
Flat shooting for an air rifle too mate. Not cheap though. $1400 or so for a PCP airgun and then you need the fill adaptor and scuba tank or a hand pump (hand pumps suck). But its one of the nicest rifles I have in my safe.
I use mine for metallic silhouette (when I go) and it has no troubles hitting rams (about the size of half to 2/3rds a $5 note ) at 45m offhand. The boys often complain when I shoot the chickens at 20m and they fly and land around the turkey's (36m). Ask tasco about it lol...

Weihrauch HW97K in 4.5mm (with the Maccari kit) with a Simmons Whitetail Classic 4-12x44mm AO. The unit is a finely tuned tack driver (thank you Lewis) with Beeman FTS Round pellets (900ft/s).

G'day all
unfortunately I dont own an air rifle anymore, I sold my HW80 in .177 late last year as I no longer has a use for it and needed more firepower. It loved silver jet pellets as they would print around 15mm at 25m. I bought a Anschutz 64MPR as an all rounder for small game using HP subsonics. A little louder than the HW80, but reaches further and hits harder. And definately not as loud as the .22mag! Dont want to annoy the local greenies........
I used the HW80 on a horse stud to whack rabbits. At 35-40paces the pellet would pass right through a rabbits head and it didn't upset the horses either (the rabbit's mates were upset tho!) Also very good on cats at close range!
However a good accurate air rifle has its place in the varminting world.......
Cheerio Ned

RWS Xcalibre- 22
looks the same as KJD's but 8 shot with a 3-12 G&R scope with paralax adjustments right down real close.
Lewis has detuned/set mine to about 20 FTlbs so I get more shots per fill. I have 4 magazines and shoot all 4 off and then fill the rifle and the mags and then start again.
Mine uses JSB exacts only- and can outshoot me every day of the week

Mine are a HW80 ... well used but internally magnificent after being fitted with a Maccari kit by Lewis. In 22cal its my "thumper". Fitted with a Nikko-Stirling 2-7x for a laugh ... bloody scope just keeps going but is optically crap!! Shoudl have got a straight 4x instead.
An absolute piece of precision engineering is the Beeman HW97K in 0.177 with G&R 3-12x ... scary accurate with its prefered FTSs. I use it around the house (farm block) to dust up the sparrows and colonising mynas when I need a hunting fix but am unable to get away.
Cheers...

This is my current favourite. It is accurate and hard hitting in .25" calibre. I had it set to shoot 32g Baracuda Match pellets at 875fps which is the same speed as my FAC .22" Hornet using 16g JSB type pellets. That is also quite accurate
. This is a special based on a BSA Hornet but fitted with a .25" BSA special barrel and one of Bowketts regulators. 22 shots on the regulator from 100cc isn't bad.
