R9 and Predators

The ever fantastic Lewis sent me some Predators to try with meagre 2 tins of JSB's. Wasn't sure which was heavier so threw them on my lee scales and the .20 predators were 13.9 or 13.8 mostly some went to 13.7 and some right on 14gr. The Exacts were coming about 13.5 and with about the same margin as the predators so looking good for the predators.
Went down stairs and put 20 odd predators through the R9 and yes she likes them Shooting sitting on an old paint drum 5 shot groups @ 10m were pretty much one ragged hole hovering around 10mm, this is about as good as I can do with the exacts with the same reset and shooting to pretty much the same POI
What was interesting is the holes they were leaving in the paper targets, there is a single neat hole just like other pellets however with two vertical lines, one at the top and one at the bottom, bit like a plane flying on one side. This was shooting into 50mm pine beam so not sure what is happening but figure the plastic tip is beginning its destructiveness pretty early on in the piece.
Now, just hope the mynah's are breeding up nicely
Once again big thanks to Lewis
