Nifty Little Trick.

I never thought of wearing a beanie or gloves in the snow...
I take it you are trying to point out the eye piece or the wind tassle as a the nifty little trick?

If you have to shoot in the snow you really do need one of those rubber eye-cup thingies that he is using. Keeps the glare out of your aiming eye and improves the clarity of the image (especially the cross-hairs) in the scope.
But why would you shoot in the snow?

Maybe it could be the new Licence holder with your Name clearly printed on the outside that you must wear around your neck while sitting in the snow?

Dont tell the missus though, but I've used a stack of ph books as pellet traps while shooting inside down the hallway
