Stupid question time

Folks,

Most of my shooting is either up in the air (pigeons) or down some steep gullies (rabbits).

Given that I rarely shoot anything with the barrel horizontal do I need to do anything special when sighting in.

Does a 45 degree angle up/down change POI??

Back in my powder burning days I didn't ever worry about this stuff so I'm showing my ignorance here.

Cheers,
PeterS

When shooting downhill you will have to allow some compensation for shooting high, as with shooting uphill you will have to adjust your aim so you do not undershoot the target. Next time you are out take note of how the bullet performs when shooting at an acute angle.
