Buddy bottles, air tanks, regulated & unregulated.????

Post by native hunter »

G"day All
can someone explain to me how it all works.
1- what is a regulated rifle and what does a non regulated do.???
2- I dont understand how the measurement and buddy bottle and air tank capacity works., Like how big of a tank will you need to fill a buddy bottle on a rifle and to what pressure,??
Do you need a certain volume fill tank to get it to a certain pressure.???
How do you work out how many fills you will get out of a given fill tank size and at what pressure.
maybe I'm way off and no one can understand what I'm asking, If not just tell me what you know.
A first hand explanation and then maybe a link to a site but I would rather it be explained to me by someone here.
Big ask I know but thanks in advance.
Regards
Damien webb.

i see you are looking at pcp.....

best wait for lewis, he will know best..

but from my understanding regulated guns give you more consistency of pressure to your shots so there is less pressure difference so less shift of poi

as for buddy bottles and pressures

try these links

Thanks mate
That was really good info and gave me a really good picture and understanding of basically what happens.
The last one about the glass of water is really easy to understand.!!
Thanks
Damien webb.
