As seems to be the problem with these all too flash air rifles. Can't find fittings. Will take at least 2 weeks for the ones I can find to then turn up. Then the issue of filling it. Oh the joys of PCp.

A mate has Daystate Red wolf and compressor and tank. He was going to fill it but NO fittings are different. What is it with these air rifle companies. Why can't they all use the same fittings and to top it off no engineering supplies carry that type of fitting either. So still have to wait for what I hope are the correct fittings.....................

Well the fittings arrived and now have it pumped up!!!
But it looks like the cells in the battery have collapsed so have ordered another battery and have another wait......
The joys of PCP.....

Well the new battery turned up and after a full charge it Works! Well the trigger system does. Now there seems to be an air leak and all the air has leaked out.
Now cannot get a refill til lockdown is over........maybe next year.
I am over the PCP thing before it has already started!

Well it was not an air leak. But anyway PCP is too much hassle without a pump.

Sounds like you need a compressor. Image

What happened was when the battery failed the action was stuck in the bolt forward position and that appeared to let the air escape. After the new battery was fitted a loose pellet backed out of the mag and jammed the action in the mag.
All sorted now as it is on it's way to a new owner.
I will stick to the springer.

Glad it’s sorted. I must say, mixing the complexity of a PCP with electronics does sound like asking for trouble. I wouldn’t give up on PCPs altogether. I have a Theoben Rapid and they are pretty robust. They have a dedicated forum devoted to them and a there’s good selection of aftermarket bits.
