O rings and compressors

Just on and noticed you are too Lewis.
No sign of the compressors yet, maybe Monday.
Do you have any breech "o" rings to fit the FWB 124 D Lewis? Not needed immediately but for future.

The rifle has settled in at 10.5 fpe with 8.44 gr, a little more with 7.9gr. It is amazingly accutate and sub 1/2" at 50 yards is quite common at the farm. Interestingly velocity there at 3,680 ft alt only drops about 10 fps.

If our friend with the Gecado mod 22 reads this - the 7.3 gr JSB round head pellets may be the very best in that rifle. Bruce Quick at Potter Firearms Holbrook did have but that was some time back. Ph 1300223845.

Gavin, they are Chinese Yong Heng as I understand it.
Supplied by Gunroom Brisbane where Lewis is helping with springer servicing.
The compressors have upgraded extra water filters and some other slight mods as I understand.
They have a basic price of $565 but the extas and freight will see additional costs. The warranty is with Gunroom.
A good mate has had one for a short time and so far is more than pleased as he is far from dive shops. He can top up his rifles in a minute or less and top up his tank too. They are not meant to straight out fill a 300 bar SCUBA tank from scratch but with short runs can top them up within reason. They need a 40 litre plastic tub, with a lid to keep out rubbish and insects, for the little cooling water pump.

John Harrison, Hunting Haven Uralla, and I, for the farm at Kentucky, are taking the step. So I guess if we can follow all the directions that Ian Mac Intosh at Gunroom has clearly laid out (see his review and report) we will find out if our air supply takes a leap forward.
Google Gunroom and find your way throgh the menu to compressors for a couple of comprehensive rundowns Ian has written. He had a lot of experience in diving hardware in WA so is well versed.
Gavin the FX Crown accounted for well over 400 rabbits picked up in 2018 in daylight. There were only about 4 that showed signs of myxo. That says something. Longest shots 143 yd, not many under 40 yrds . Three locations: Kentucky; Meadow Flat past Lithgow, and south of Jindabine.

Chris, they should be there when we get back to the farm next week to finish cropping Wendy's lavender.
I will give an initial report when I get mine operating; and perhaps at intervals over the year. I will leave a scuba tank at the farm. That will save having to transport one up and down every trip, a thing that bothers me. I have a small carbon wrapped 300 bar bottle which should be ideal to top up the rifles a number of times before starting the compressor again to top up it and the rifles. Somethingto look forward to .... Harry.
