I love springers!

Post by LWR58 »

I’ve been around springers for over 50 years and love them every bit as much now

Probably more so now because they seem to be a bit neglected .

I’m told that everything has changed and nobody wants springers any more

I call BS on that!!

Angus is now 14 and just loves springers!

He loves shooting them and now working on them with me

All our springers are fully tuned with Maccari gear as you’d expect which only makes them better

I’ve now got nearly everything in stock from Jim so you can enjoy it too!!

Over the coming weeks, I’m going to have more top end products for your springers to save you running around disinterested gunshops in desperation

You will rediscover your springer with this stuff!

Stay tuned!

Hi Lewis!

Good to see you back. Very good.

I did have two springers, but I let one go in a moment of weakness ......

Never mind, the FWB300 is still good fun.

The 124 is still going well for you I presume?

Cheers, Wayne.

Hi Wayne

Good to hear from you too

Yes the 124 D is working very well

I freshened it up inside and fitted a Maccari stock and Muzzle Brake

Much loved addition!!

What are your favourite springers ?

Ive had a few over the years but at the moment I only have a HW97K and a HW30
(both .177) It amazing what a low powered springer such as the ‘30 is capable off :)

Pretty much down to two brands

Weihrauch and Feinwerkbau

FWB 124/127 Sport
FWB 110/150/300/300S Match 10M
FWB 65/80/90 Air Pistol

HW 25/30/35/50/55/80/85/90

My son has a Maccari tuned HW30S
He doesn’t miss much!

These airguns will last forever!

I sold a lot of Beeman R1 Carbines in my 20 years

The .25 was always a Carbine

Unless you were a junior shooter or had a sickly back the carbine was always better

They shot faster too

My HW30 is my airgun I probably use the most.
It was wearing a 2-7 BSA scope here but currently wears a Leupold 3-9x33 ultralight EFR
Its has a Vortek tuning Kit in it and a custom stock that I had sent over from Poland.

Low powered but ridiculously accurate :)
