Clayton Firearms has a BSA "original" Number 1 for sale, assuming that means anything to the air gunners here.
Looks nice an ancient but I wouldn't know if it's worth what they are asking or not. Thought it might interest some people here.
It's listed on their main page.

I know nothing about it. Just thought someone here might be able to appreciate its merits, or lack thereof.

A little bit pricy for one that needs a full service. I really don't need a safe queen.

There’s not much inside them
If the leather seal is ok and not full of ball bearings and nails I would use it again
The spring may be ok too
It just needs to pulled apart which is typically very easy
Cleaned out and put back together with new grease
What always worries me is if some baboon has pulled the tap out and lost the index spring and ball and a shim if it’s got one
The tap will never line up with the bore
Always good to haggle for a price just in case
