Not sure if these are worth it but...

Clayton Firearms have a few old pfft rifles for sale that look pretty ancient. May be something that interests you blokes.
Diana MGR and a BSA Original No. 1 look interesting. See their website.

Can't seem to find a second hand area on their site, where should I be looking?

They are central on the main page along with the other used guns but you'll need to scroll down a bit to see them.

Been away from here but just looked back in.
Thanks Raven,
Nice thanks for pointing it out.
Got a BSA like that one but if it's still there will check that Diana out tomorrow, like the fact they say weak spring, ideal for keeping the possums away from the trees trying to bud new leaves as those buggers are destroying them, should only give them a nudge and hopefully scare them off.

Went down today and bought the Diana, remarkable condition for being over 100 years old, all original with good nickel plating and a nickel plated steel butt, quite nice and solid, from what I've researched they were made by Mayer & Grammelspacher around 1913 but will look into it further.
Can't see from their small pic on their site but in fact has a reasonably grained walnut stock on it and a nice slender hexagonal barrel.
Did the PTA with them so should be able to collect it in a couple of days.
Will post a pic or two and a report on how she shoots, although I can see a slight gap in the breech due to wear so there would be quite a bit of air escaping but don't care about that so long as a pellet pops out the barrel.
A big thank you Raven for posting that here.
Andrew

Glad I could put someone onto something they like. Hope it's exactly what you expect.
PS. My first successful puchase mentoring!

Thought someone would also recognise my post count anniversary.

Looks pretty good for its age and a bit more sturdier made than I thought, but then again I'm used to plastic daisys.
Are you going to leave it as is or do some sympathetic restoration.

Definitely leave as is, not really worth any resto, just nice to see how young gunners felt over 100 years ago.

Well that is certainly a nifty little jigga-boo you picked up
Novel idea of using the lever as the charging handle, I presume it is attached inside the grip tube to the plunger.
Definitely leave as is, would spoil the whole "Owning a hundred year old Gun" by doing any sort of resto on it, looks in pretty good nick as it is.

Yep, saw it a while ago.
Caveat of course being: an advertisement isnt advice or mentoring. . .
