Harry's FX Crown ; and some silent words about AusPost.

Post by Yrrah »

It left Sweden in July, arrived Melbourne Customs early Sept. Cleared Customs early last week and was sent up to my dealer last Wed in good shape. Arrived 8 days later today to my dealer in Uralla by AusPost with its barrel bent 20 degrees in front of the action.
My second Permit 2 × $30 runs out on 28th Oct.
Well done OZ Post. Your boss really earns his $ 6,000,000 :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :bang: ##*^##.

Someone more expressive than I please say a few words to describe our postal service.
I have some pics but can't now figure how posting now works here. . .... Harry Yrrah. Speechless.

Bloody hell Harry thats a real bastard thing, though hardly surprising as I have heard how rough some of the treat parcels in the sorting shed. Did you have it insured ?

Glad to see you still think of us occasionally. :D

That really sucks Harry. All the applicable flashed across my mind and a few new ones.
For photos I use Imgur to save them there then link them to post / websites.

Taken from a sleep apnea forum

Step 1 - Upload your Image to a Graphics Server (Imgur) Note: You can use Imgur without an account.
A. In your Web browser, goto: http://imgur.com
B. Near the upper left of the page will be a green button labeled, “New post”. Select it. A popup screen will
display allowing you the options pasting a location of your image on your PC or use the Explorer function
to locate it.
C. Press the Browse button and a File Explorer will be displayed.
D. Navigate to your SleepyHeadData → Screenshots folder and select your image.
E. Either double-click the image or Press the Open button
Your image will be uploaded and displayed in your webpage.

Step 2 - Copy Image Location
Place the mouse pointer on the image and right-click. Select: Copy Image Location in the Option list.
Note: On the right side of the screen, midway down, you will see a box with a button to its right,
labeled “Copy”. This will NOT provide the proper link address.
Link address differences (same image):
Using Copy Image Location: http://i.imgur.com/jGmcFKq.jpg - This will produce an image
Using the Copy button: http://imgur.com/a/ZCk8I - This will not display an image
Note: Imgur account holders will be provided additional options.

Step 3 - Inserting your image in a post
Using the Full Editor (WYSIWYG):
Select the Insert an Image icon from the editor menubar. Paste in the link you just copied.

Just don't understand how they could do this.

My Royal came in a hard plastic case but you would think the box and foam should be plenty

Hey Harry,

Did you take up a SSAA membership with an Insurance option? If you had already paid for the rifle, then it was already yours. If all else fail with other avenues, claim o n the SSAA insurance if you took it up.
