Sorry to break the bad new to some of you guys.
The May Field Target shoot at Majura has been cancelled, and with good reason. I believe that there is an SSAA Open Day and the Field target setup lives in the proximity of the fall out zone for the Pistol Range.
I'll find out when the June event will take place. And for those who can't wait, the April shoot is still going ahead as far as I know.

Hi guys.
Assuming this is still on for tomorrow as per Darius' email a few weeks back?
Anyone else from Sydney heading down tomorrow?

Hey Dibbsy,

Was a great day yesterday. About 10 people turned up to enjoy perfect crisp sunny Canberra weather with enough wind to make it interesting but shootable.
Great course layout too. Further up the road past the shotgun section gave a wide variety of terrain and also some fun and very challenging steep lookdown shots. Despite the close range, more than a few of us had trouble with the steep angle and small target zones.
Overall loads of fun and thanks to Darius for setting a great course.
Looking forward to June and some more people coming along.

Re: May FT Shoot in Canberra
Darius took me round last October before they started shooting there. I thought it was a doozy then and have been hanging out to shoot it since.
Mind you, bloody glorious view up both end of the valley and at least we know the breeze goes one way or the other.
