G'day fellas
I'm looking at buying a new pcp rifle , I've owned an air arms s410 that I shouldn't have sold to oll 55 on here and now I'm looking at buying again can I get your opinions on a few
Day state 303 hi lite or there airranger
Fx boss or there royal
BSA 22
weichrach 22
If you have owned one I'd like to here what you think and in the bsa range what is there best and same with weichrach, im a bit worried about the 30 Cals only having one projectile choice ( I think )
Because the 30 is heavier than the 22 and 25 is it a lot more of a curved trajectory given similar velocity
Thanks fellas

Best bang for buck in my opinion, BSA R10 .22 cal.

Good shot count, accurate, regulated, lovely stock wood, sling swivels, adjustable pad.
What's not too like at $1500.00 ?

I know there are others but at a cost.

Just my opinion.

19ftlbs in .177, 28 in .22 using heavies.
If you want pics, let me know.

Is a regulated rifle what you want ?

The scorpion is a lovely gun but no reg.

I'm presuming regulated is more precise with its air delivery? What difference does it make over all ?
Cheers

Here's a comparison, you can see the slight rise in velocity with the Scorpion.

I have an R10, Royale 400 and regularly deal with HW100, Dynamax, Scorpion, Buccaneer, other Fxs, etc. Yep I get exposed to a large range of PCPs because of my industry associates. I have no association withany brand but I'm just an air rifle nut.

If you gave me $2000, I would buy the Royale right now, wouldn't even blink.

Daystates and Brocock are like buying a lottery ticket. All Full power PCPs will be loud. With most other PCPs the shot count is around 35-55 but my Royale will provide 80 shots between 175 to 135 bars, its sweet spot. Variation is 20 fps in that range. Out shoots and handles better than my R10.

An idea of your purpose and budget would be very useful.

If youreplanning to use a side parallax scope and a sidewheel with your AR, forget the BSAs, Gamo and from memory, most Brittish made rifles. The magazines insert on the left and the sidewheels get in the way.

Send me a PM with your contact number and I am only too happy to talk you through your potential purchase.
