Hw 100 FSB
Were any of these FSB models imported into Australia? If so can anyone tell me what sort of noise level they had.
Thanks

I know of three. Quite like my Royale, Blizzard and R10.
Wait for GavinM to chime in. The bastard's got two (2) of them!

Re: Hw 100 FSB
The only PCP I couldn't get to group with any sort of pellet, and I tried all the good ones available.
The HW100 in FAC are notorious for being inaccurate, just check out the Internet forums.
If you do get one, best of luck with it, you may be lucky.
Mine was in .22 cal .

Re: Hw 100 FSB
Be nice now Geoff or I will have to converskate the best 97k in the country off you.
7 FSBs made it to Australia before the law changed its mind. 1 in WA had to be changed back to normal because WA take the rules to another level.
It is a shame that they can't import them especially in the 22. Because that barrel is a 12 groove barrel and has proven to be very accurate. It is also a very thin barrel which saved a fair bit of weight.
The standard 600mm canon size heavy barrel is a 6 groove barrel and has caused a lot of heartache for a lot of people around the world but HW will not address it.
The shroud does help with the noise for sure but there is room for improvement.
I love my 2 and would buy another one tomorrow. Pm me for more info and options.

The word Polygon comes to mind, by then I'd lost interest.
Shame really, apart from the clunky action and inaccuracy, I really enjoyed it.

You're got me here 223. If it had a clunky action and was not accurate what was left to like.
Most people agree owner or not that the 100 has probably the best action in the business.
Slick side lever. Indestructible magazine. Super trigger. You must of like looking at it.
I admit I like looking at mine.

Re: Hw 100 FSB
They bring them in shooting way too hot. Our FAC doesn't work with the original design spec.
Maybe it's just the shooter Neil.
Take for example my R10 which came in from Spain rather than locally bought; 17 fpe versus local FAC of 31 in 22. Mine certainly shot more accurately when I had her sitting side by side on the bench with a locally bought one. It love Crosmans but the other had to utilise 15 and 18 grain pellets to be of any use.

Re: Hw 100 FSB
They can be a bit hot in 177. It's a very quick and easy fix.Mine was shooting at 960 but it was accurate with Barracuda's. now have it at 900 fps.
The 22 is not what you would call high powered by today's standard.
They were around the 24ft/lb when they first came. Now around 28-30ft/lb.
It's just he barrel on the 22 that can be a problem.
