Noise level of a Hw 100k .22 cal

I am seeking advice on the comparable noise level of the hw100 k when it discharges. I have only had experience with springers and powder burners.
It is very hard to gain any compatable noise level by watching youtube, most of those have FSB barrels or silencers fitted and one can hardly hear the discharge.
Thanks
Frank

I live on 5 acres and have really good people living on the surrounding properties, I once owned an HW100, every time I pulled the trigger I felt awkward.
If it's the .22 cal your interested in, then at 30ftlbs its gonna bang. Here in OZ we have the export models, in the UK, shooter's are restricted to 12ftlbs unless you have a firearms certificate (FAC). Those videos you are watching are no doubt rifles running at about 10-11.5. ftlbs.
Saying that, a good moderator will tame the noise to just the sound of the hammer Spring in 12ftlbs or FAC.
Just a shame they are a banned item here.
Out in the bush you'd be fine, with good shot placement, whatever you hit will never even hear the shot anyway.

I've wondered about this watching air rifles hunting rabbits I wonder sometimes do they just hear it and move as the pellets are subsonic after all.
No experience with the hw100 but from all the pcps at the range when shooting field target some are quite loud!

If you can find them grab some Remington Cbees.
Only pushing 700 fps or there abouts but hollowpoint projectile. Quiet, deadly and won't zip through like some other low fps round noses will do. Certainly a lot quieter than the Winchester subsonics.

Thanks for the info on the Remington .22 ammo. Will have a look for them at the local LGS.

Another quiet round is the CCI Quiet.
I tried it once but found it wasn't suitable for my range shooting as it tended to drop a lot more over 50m compared to my standard rounds (as you'd expect). Note I didn't resight my scope for these rounds.
I haven't tried it for hunting but it should kill bunnies who get close.
Reportedly 68 dB @ shooters ear
