Hi guys,

I've been back and forth with Darius in Canberra over the last couple of days. The Canberra FT group is intending to run a shoot at their new FT course in the next 4 - 6 weeks time. They will be using the shoot as a dry run for the Nationals so that they can iron out all the gremlins. I strongly suspect there will be a second shoot closer to the Nats as well.

As soon as I get the exact dates I will update this post. Things are warming up in the ACT eventhough winter has even set in.

I've spent far too much time at Majura waiting to fire blanks at people in freezing conditions

Spent about an hour on the phone with Darius last night. ACT will be having an FT shoot on the First Sunday of each month. The first one has been tentatively set for July.

As more info come to hand, I shall pop it up.

At this stage, I'm planing to attend every second one.

I'll squeeze our ACT compatriot a bit more.

I have spoken to Darius and can confirm that the shoot will take place on Sunday 3/7/2016 at the Majura Range, Canberra. The range will be set up prior to the Juniors commencing their MS shoot. Sighting will take place immediately after they finish then followed by the FT Shoot.

Be there at 12 noon to give yourselves time.

There may be a a power limit so it's best to check with Darius.

Because it's the middle weekend of the school holidays, the "boss" has taken my liberty away. Will be at the August shoot.

Well to all you people that piked out you missed a great afternoon. Some great angles at some tricky presentations of the targets, he has the mounting of the targets sorted. The usual hassle with the winding up of the strings needs to be sorted but in general it should be a fantastic venue to shoot.
