converting a fill adaptor from yoke to DIN-possible??

thanks to Yrrah's for his questions and info on pressure regs

I have been forced to re-consider my plans to adapt my filler to the small air tank.
Yrrah has told me it's illegal to have 232 bar yoke fittings on a tank rated to higher than 232 BAR pressures- needs to be DIN fittings

So can I get a DIN (300BAR) yoke to suit this filler or do I have to get a whole new filler unit with DIN fittings??

Please let me know Lewis what is possible?

Also what a pump is worth and how big are they??

thanks

Patrick,
I'll just swap it to a DIN for you.No problem.
The pumps are $395 posted and are the size of a large stirrup trye pump.

ok cool
can you send me the specs of the thread sizes of these units so I can tell the guy at the dive shop so we can start the conversion.

Also any pics of the DIN fitting etc- all to help the conversion

Thanks

Patrick,

Just a hint.

I fill from low pressure (100BAR or less) with the SCUBA tank, and then top up with the pump.

Filling from zero pressure to 200BAR with the pump is very aerobic!
