They must have been good!
1919 vintage BSA L model.
5 shots with open sights (have had my shooting eye cataract attended).
25 yards with Predator .177 MetalMags. (Polymags with a metal tip)

Think I have the perfect pellet for it for Mynas  ... Regards, Harry.

That seems tight enough. Must not have had too many nails fired out of it.

If I was 100 years old I doubt I'd be shooting groups that well.

That's a well preserved bit of history, which is always worth seeing.

So Harry where are the metalmag tests on Mynas

Knocked one off this morning with polys in r9 20, geez they make a mess. It's like they were made for them

Do you think the metal mag will pick through on its own after initial impact?

Ryan, I haven't had a chance yet with the old girl BSA and Metalmags.
After seeing so many of the flock plop onto their backs, they seem uninterested in offering up for the test !
My guess is the result will be the same mess inside as with the Polymags. The penetrated "matter" will slide up the metal tip, spread the lead lips and fold it back along the pellet body just the same; probably shed the metal as the hole it sits in is spread too.
They shoot exceptionally well to at least 60 yards from my TM1000 target rifle too. So if the few stragglers that have recently made it to Kentucky from the NE Highway settle in, they too will be dealt with. I may need to get one of those traps as I don't want the beggars at our place.
Harry.

Hehe....They have stayed away from my joint for this same reason but this season they seemed to have forgotten.

Metal or poly they definitely work :-)
