For anyone wanting a pressure gauge/Quickfill for their BSA PCPs (Hornet, Scorpion, Bucaneer, Dynamax, etc), XTX finally has their screw in gauges back in stock.
Move quick if you want one though.

Gents,
You may have to loosen the UNF adaptor and move it forward so the gauge does touch the barrel as you will be adding about 35mm to the end of the air cylinder.
You may have to remove the cylinder to access the grub screw under the adaptor. Give us a yell if I can help.

Thanks Geoff,
Re the clearance. I wondered if this would be required as the knurled part of the valve cover already rubs on the flared part of the barrel extension. Fortunately the grub screw is accessible in it's present position.
Plan B might be to redesign the barrel extension with less bulk or a shorter sleeve (or just use a slightly shorter pressure tube.
(Nice RED Bling BTW

Note the 5mm spacer on mine to accommodate the air stripper. Yours is a very different shaped adaptor to mine and Matt's though. You may not need to do anything as you have the BSA/Fx/Gamo style stripper. The knurled cap would no longer be needed if you install the gauge, so 2 problems solved in one go.
