The light force has been great. I bought 2 extra batteries from battery world. Each one gives 1 to 1.5 hrs light time. It has a spring mechanism to handle the recoil. I have 3 base plates attached to various guns, so if I want to change guns mid shoot, it's just a matter of clip off one and onto the other. Also has a red lens which is good as rats don't see red light very well. The light doesn't add much weight to the gun, but the battery can be fairly heavy after awhile. I also have a large light force spotty that is attached to a removable mount. Like a platform that you compress and put in the window slot where the glass goes. It has been a good piece of gear also. That is a good bag, but I shot about 35 more that night. All up about 40 odd in 3 hours.
