Hi guys i have had my gamo shadow dx for 2 weeks now and as i previously posted i would show my results of my testing ,here goes i tested 9 different types of pellets through it ,it was interesting to see the different grouping sizes and speeds through my chronograph and as was said before the trigger is not the best i adjusted the second stage and i am hoping once its had a few hundred pellets through it ,it may improve. I am very happy with the accuracy of the rifle, it likes the H&N Baracuda 10.65 gns especially, and with a 5 shot group size of 10 mm x 10mm at 10m, and these pellets on the chronograph were pretty consistent at 866 fps which i am hoping will do the goods on head shot bunnies at a maximum 25m i even tried those gamo raptor pellets which shot at 1165 fps but the group sizes at 10m were terrible about 40mm x 50mm with the odd flier not something i would buy again ,and the noise! no good for back yard plinking, any way i am very happy with the shadow its not as twangy? when you shoot it as i was led to believe ,time will tell if it improves with more rounds put through it i have listed below the different pellets i used there weight and speed and what size groups i achieved but overall i am very impressed with this rifle i think its good value for the money which was $400 including a nikkostirling 4x32AO scope fitted cheers Andy

Interesting that the heavier Barracudas shoot as fast as the lighter RWS. Something agreeable is going on.

The baracudas were the tightest fitting pellet out of them all ,i found it interesting the differences between all the pellets not only in the results but the way that some pellets were very loose when placed into position some pellets like the baracudas the weights were almost identical ,but the hollow points didnt group anything like the solid baracuda ....strange but it was fun finding out! cheers Andy
