you wouldnt have any cheap airgun scopes left by any chance ?
i still need one for the recently rebuilt bsa meteor 177.
[trigger is heavy as fvck and cracks loud like a 22 rimfire ]

I might have.I'll have a look.

The trigger shouldn't be that bad.I assume you've tried adjusting it.The piston might be crook and the sear grabs onto it.

It shouldn't crack either.Is is dieselling? Any smoke out the barrel?

Is the breech seal doing its job?

Did you replace the piston ring?

pretty sure i got it all from you lewis,main spring and seal kit.
pretty sire i got the piston off you also.[after cracking the old one]
im not sure if its blowing smoke,i havent fired it since last october when i put it together.
if i have time,ill get it out tomorrow and do some plinking and adjusting.
will let you know when i do.

I think you did too.If it was all fitted it should be great unless lubricant has got in front of the piston.

Nevertheless shoot it and see how it goes.Excess lube will burn off.

It should not crack like a RF. It should just be a PFFFFTTTT .

I don't have any old scopes.How about a brand new in the box Gerholdt & Reuss 2-7x32 for $150? This is a great scope,perfect for the Meteor and at a sensational price.

i havent got that much on my card just now and i am pretty sure there is a powerbill comming.
might take another fortnight to get enough to pay for it....
