If you haven't already, buy her a tin of JSB Exact Heavy.
I have a hornet in .177, and if your wife's hornet shoots like mine, and she has the skill, it will shoot very much the same results in the right conditions.....

I actually got some for her a while back but it seems to prefer "kodiaks/barracudas" but when I tested them the day wasn't all that flash, so I am planning on giving them another try.
