I've had this HW100 FSB (fully shrouded barrel) for 2 months now and its another great gun from Weihrauch..The shroud is a huge improvement on the noise level and just screws on and of for easy cleaning.
I prefer the bull barrel look of a shrouded barrel over a muzzle brake.
This one's a 177..I also have a 22 thumhole but it's not a FSB.

hey Gavin,
Nice bit of kit!
I've been looking at buying the HW100 in Thumbhole (I'm a Lefty) for a while, how do you find the action? Is there a better PCP Air rifle at the same price point?
Cheers
Dave

Hmmm... I question the legality of the shroud... it is classed as a sound moderator!

The HW 100 is a very good airgun. As to your comment on the shrouded barrel. It would not be registered if there were any legal problem with it. I have had and still have other airguns such as the Air arms TX 200 and the SLR 98 these have shrouded barrels and they are all properly registered.
Unfortunately here in OZ too much of an issue surrounds any device that may be or should not be classed as a silencing device, unlike NZ the UK and Europe where a more practical approach is taken on the subject.

Well said Ray I will second that.
Dave the action on the HW 100 is first class, silky smooth side lever, superb trigger and a very simple uncomplicated 14 shot magazine. The ambidextrous thumbhole stock will suit a lefty to a T
I hope this helps you Dave and sorry for the late reply.
