G'day all,

Well, Lewis finally convinced me that my life would be incomplete without a HW100T, so I bought one. He was right.

(Thank you Lewis for all the great advice, and especially for your boundless patience.)

So far, I have:
Chronographed the pellets (Kodiaks and Exacts),
Checked how many shots per fill,
Checked how many pumps to fill,
Checked how many refills from my SCUBA (in theory anyway),
Zeroed my scope to 39yds,
Made a drop chart etc etc

However, with the scope zeroed at 39yds, the elevation knob is almost at the end of its travel - not good. To centre the adjustment I need to raise the rear mount approx. 30 thou or 22.5 MOA.

I'm looking at the B-Square range of adjustable mounts and wondering do you experienced airgunners prefer one-piece or two-piece adjustables?
(0.030" is more than I care to shim/lap)

From memory, Lewis supplied me with Beeman 5030H mounts.

They worked fine on my 44MAG, and now on the G+R 12x40.

Ask Lewis.

Isn't the HW100T the dog's bollocks?

No problems!
I really don't fancy adjustable mounts.They're a pain!
You need a proper airgun scope.

G'day Chris,

Yes, the HW100T is an absolute ball tearer. I owned Sheridan and Diana airguns decades ago but the Weihrauch is in a different league all together.

I did buy some fixed B-Square mounts to try out but I am using a 8-32x50 Nykron airgun scope and, as you know, high magnification has its costs in adjustment range (and FOV etc). I'd normally use a tapered base in this situation but then I noticed adjustable bases are available for airguns - hence my question.

, do you mean to set up or to hold their setting?

How about tapered bases? Are they available for 11mm dovetails?

I'll play around with the Nykron for targets then get the G&R 3-12x40 MilDot for hunting.

They are a pain to set up and they can lose zero.
I do use BKL's in one piece with droop compensation but only have them in one inch.
