Are we going to see these sort of pellets in .25 Cal??
Yrrah have you had any luck convincing JoseF to do a 32+ grain Exact with a really high BC in .25 cal yet??
I have a 48+ FPE Rapid MK11 ready and waiting to send to you so you can do - "product evaluation"- for JoseF
Thanks for the write up
Will have to look at scaring some more moths out of the wallet and seeing about a high powered .22 cal PCP-- Lewis whats the highest power PCPs you have in .22 cal right now? What FPE will a HW100 thumb hole do?
OR
My gas ram HW-90 is doing 25 FPE with FTS-- do you think these heavies are worth a try in it?? or not enough grunt?
thanks

One Steyr .22 that I have had the pleasure to shoot does 30 fpe with 15.9 gr Exacts. With a 26+ gr pellet that would translate to approx 32 fpe and 740 fps.
At 32 fpe ME and a guessed BC .034 when sighted at 48 yards the pellet would be within 1.5 inches of line of sight from 10 yrds to 55 yards. .. Good eh?
On the other hand a spring rifle would lose at least 2 fpe to the heavier pellet and possibly more ..... When I had it years ago, my Crow Magnum 111 in .20 cal did 27 fpe with 14.3 gr CPs but when I tried an experimental 22 gr .20 pellet it dropped to 18 fpe... That is some depreciation. It was gas strut powered and a magnificent rifle but my old shoulders did feel the crunch of 100 shots in a session . On the futher other hand the Sheridan pump rifle showed no change in FPE with the same two pellets at around 14.5 fpe!
No, I must admit that I have not lobbied Josef for the .25 but know that Lewis has put the word on. You will see one and I would like to do tests on such before it is produced. I may even get to want a .25 too . You may even see a poly tip .25 Predator one day.
Kind regards, Harry.
