I'd suggest going to the Cometa/JSB Jumbo Heavy at 18.1 grain. It should slow it to about 850-870 fps which is about the ideal velocity for optimal pellet performance. I reckon 923 is a touch hot.

What would I know?

I can send up some 18 grainers if you need them Mark.
