Good catching up last week. How did the young bloke go with Bambi?

Saw a couple wasn't game to snap a cap as there was a helicopter flying over looking for those fugitives. Was good to catch up and looking forward to TCBgrmkc wrote:Why waste an existing PTA! Hey Gary?

Some of these newish air rifles must be powerful if they reckon you need a wall that thick to stop slugs
is that what is required by the rules, or just a bit of over engineering ?

Forgot to say, looks pretty flash. Well done

Re: Field Target Competition - Hornsby Smallbore Range - Sat 31st Oct 2015
Probably a bit of everything Camel. We needed I stop ground richochet from .22lr rounds but also wanted something that would stand up to repeated abuse over a number of years (don't want to have to do this again).
We also needed something that would be a match for Youngy's rifle

He has sold the ear drum rupturer folks. I believe he will be there with a Steyr. You can remove the wall now.JWD wrote:Probably a bit of everything Camel. Yes Boys, it is true.
After much sadness, I have sold the DAYSTATE Howizter, to a DAYSTATE Collector/Hunter who will use it for its intended purpose.
By doing that JWD, the those ricochet walls will out outlast their design life threefold !!!!
I cannot make it tomorrow, but look forward to introducing you guys to my New Toy (Steyr) and Old Toy (BSA Meteor) next time.
I'm really looking fwd to the TCB trip.
If you guys are planning any practice sessions in the lead up to TCB, please let me know.
