Looks pretty good to me for the first after so long.
Thanks for all the stuff you post about it HB.
It is almost as good as having one and definitely makes the wait easier.

I think they do have pretty short barrels. 14"?
But I read somewhere that for a springer they only need 12 inches and after that it's just slowing the pellets down, though not by very much at all.
I'm sure Lewis knows all this.
Hope you are getting better L.

G'day all
this is the back of 12mm thick ply , shot at measured 18 metres , jbs exact pellets :D

i also think that the short barrel would also give better acurcracey (one day i will learn to spell  ) less travel time in barrel for us to stuff up shots :D

hey makrand how are you ? this woukd have been your A/R
tell you what ! have read alot of good things on this A/r and they are all ture :D

kjd , did not really notice much dieseling ,no real loud shots , think my electric staple gun is louder :D

hey astro how are you ? any news on your PTA ?

thanks
astro

I'm good HB.
I know it was once going to be mine so it is nice to see all the stuff you put on the site.
I read a lot as well so it is good to have it confirmed by you.
It looks like a real killer!
Can't wait. (But of course will have to)
I'm sure the one I get will be just as good.
Any news on the shipment Lewis?

had a quick shot with the five differant pellets i have here , i know it is not the greatest of groups as most shots where done between showers , and a bit rushed ,but looks like the rifle likes the heavier type of pellets 12 grains and up !!will try agian when weather clears up !!!
any one else get the same ???

astro !! congratulations mate , that is good to hear :D
now just need a few sunny breaks in weather to crack a few off :D

no not on bench , have been rushing shots , all taken off the knee , i know there are a few flyers , with dog trying to lick face(dogue de bordae, or the dog off turner & houch), and drizzle running down neck , throw in a bit of blurred target , and you get a bad shot like me , but will get to do this better , weather forcast looking good for weekend :D

open to some advise , god only knows i need help ??? :D

Hi HB, not yet. That is a very long term project as I don't even have the tools yet.
Keep up the good work with the R9.
