Thought I would share this ( today's ) email from JSB .
"Dear Harry,
Many thanks for your e-mail. It’s good to know that you are alright and doing well.
As for the cal .25 and the 25 grain cal .22 pellets. I am on my way from the IWA at the moment and we spoke about both these projects with our customers and distributors there more than often. Everybody is looking forward to see some asap. We have started to design the pellet even before the show but we are convinced now that it will sell very well. That is why we will pay even more attention to that in the next few weeks.
We still haven’t made the decision about the weight of the cal .25 pellet yet. We are considering making two weight variants. Lighter around 25 grains and heavier over 30 grains…
The 18,1 grain pellets sell very well on most markets all around the world and we have been receiving very positive feedback on these.
Looking forward to our further cooperation and best regards,
Pavel"
So, both those with lower powered .25s as well as the higher powered brigade may be looked after. Everything takes time to get it right, so if we are patient things will fall into place ........ Eh Patrick? ....... Kind regards, Harry.

No, and when developing something new I doubt it good practice to start at a forward date and work backwards. These people have got it right for all excepting one pellet so far. ( The original 10+ gr .177 was changed quickly to the present 10.2 gr .177 ). 6 from 7 is pretty good. Some manufacturers get it wrong and still produce rubbish decade after decade.ogre6br wrote:outstanding news

Such is the lack of expectation in the revolving door of air rifle customers. They don't expect much and they get it! JSB know they have a core of discerning shooters and are trying their best to provide the best for the best. In the UK and European, Scandinavian, Russian and African FT markets they pretty much have it to themselves now with their .177s ( re-badged by a handful of UK, Swedish and German Co. ).
H&N are some competition with their ancient but very good Baracuda Match ( re-badged by Beeman? Kodiak and Bisley? ) and FTT re-badged by Beeman. .........
We just have to be patient .... Kind regards, Harry.
