stay there after dark and get a night vision scope.
Im not sure if night vision goggles will work if you wear them and look through a normal scope.
but more fun would be ferrets i reckon

Re: RABBIT TACTICS ?
Well HB ...... 70 m is a nice mid range in good air for my Hornet or Excalibre ..... JSB Exacts ... Get onto Chris Thomas, get him to bring his Cyclone for you and his range finder. Chris has plenty of other 70 + m rabbit rifles. I'm sure you would have a great day but by the sounds of it it may be a one shot one bunny avo' .........
.........
If I wasn't so far away I'd be happy to lend you a rifle and watch from a distance..
Kind regards, Harry.

G'day Harry
Thats a very kind offer ! but i have found a new rabbit plot a few months ago ,but have been using the 17 hmr and the 204R so the poor ole R9 has been a bit neglected of late ,might have to get it out and get some practice in ,then dig up the camo net and give it a good go !
Another problem i noticed ,on the drive home tonight ,i knocked a rabbit over ,in the car ,but it was just sitting in the middle of the road really scratching at its eye's ,which got me thinking that the mixo might be coming through
Have had a few phone conversations with Chris T ,and i really enjoy chatting to him ! we end up talking for close to 3/4 hour each time ! must give Chris a call ,and even try a catch up one time !
And don't worry ,still thinking of buying a PCP ! just need to figure out how with out the kmiss's catching me

For spotting with nv, try a yukon ranger digtal monocular 5x42. They are quite popular over our way and right handy to see how many rabbits are sitting on your neighbours land too. Can be use in daylight without fear of burning the tube as they ain't got one(ccd technology).
