Normally I use one of my short pumpers for rats but I decided to give my FWB127 a run around some aviaries and chicken sheds.
I've had it since new in 1984. The gun has Jim Maccari internals and one of his Gerholdt and Reuss branded 2-7x32 scopes in Sporstmatch mounts. It does 13.5-14ft/lbs so is up to the task.
I mounted up a Solarforce L2 torch with two mode XP-L module and grabbed a pocket full of pretty and shiny RWS Meisterkugelns and headed off.
The rifle was instantly too long for inside the small sheds!
However outdoors with the scope at 2x and the AO wound right down it was good and I hit a couple on the run.
Six I managed to recover out of about 10 shot.
Torch and scope combo.
Flat and shiny!
