Old antique BSAs - how good would they have been -

Post by Yrrah »

- with modern pellets and a scope?
Today I trotted out my old 1919 Light .177 BSA and shot this group
at 25 yards with Predator Metalmags and the open sights. I have shot Indian Mynas with these.

Perhaps the old prewar Mick Simmons catalogue boast for the Heavy BSA that it could take rabbits to 50 yards may have been legit.
Harry.

Nice one Yrrah,

I too love the oldies too.

Recently got this very nice BSA Light Pattern dated 1934, amazing heavy over engineered build quality that will last forever, an incredible piece of air gun history.

Nice shooting. There’s no way I could achieve a group like that with my Meteor. And that’s with a scope!

The build quality looks way better than the Meteor too.
