Great to be here.
What do I shoot? A Gamo Expo 26 .177 (light springer with a plastic barrel shroud, chosen for kids), fitted with a Beeman peepsight that doubles its value.
I also own a couple of Gamo air pistols - a Compact target model and an R77 CO2 revolver. These are brilliant value for money, but our licensing regime prevents access to enjoying them.
Most will be shocked to find that I once owned an FWB 65, but prefer my Gamo Compact.
(By the way, this doesn't mean that I don't WANT to buy a good gun, and when I do I will get a Beeman R9 or if money were no object, a PCP model from Beeman.)
I would like to say it is about time we called for a more sensible licensing regime for air pistols, that they be moved to Cat A or de-regulated entirely.
