Finally got round to picking up my new cz 527! Im really happy with it and the wood was better than i was expecting! I'm still waiting on the scope from TOZ so when i scope it ill post some more photos. pictures a pretty low quality i had to take them on my phone. enjoy (especially trev and knackers )

Very nice indeed. I love CZ's. I might be old fashioned but in my mind they are basically the epitome of what a rifle should look like. Enjoy it, I am sure it will serve you well for many years to come.

Its a nice rifle thats for sure, I really like the way they set up thier magazines.

This is a better option, the balance point is right at the magazine, much easier to carry and looks the goods IMHO, plus five round mag still fits ok:

yeah brad is right its a 223. i emailed the guys at olin when it was getting sent to ask whether it was the 24" or 25.5" barrel he said it was 24 but it is actually the 25.5 inch. I was hoping for the slightly shorter one as its gonna be used mainly for spotlighting. however the overall length isn't that long it is the same length as my mates weatherby vanguard and he manages fine with his. i guess in the future if i want to make it shorter i can shorten the barrel anyway. still waiting on the scope hope it hurries up im itching to take it out for a shoot!

I got the factory trigger lightened right up on mine recently and I can't get enough of it!

Love the CZ's can't go wrong with 'em!
My only gripes with CZ is angle of the bolt throw, if they could get it to about 70* instead of 90* it would be much better for scope clearance. I'm probably just being a sook but i tend to tap my thumb on the scope when i cycle the action (especially in rapid fire matches). I've only got a Bushnell 3-9 x 40 on there too so its not like the scopes too for it...
Just a minor niggle, a 70* bolt throw angle would just improve an already iconic and awesome rifle IMAO anyway! LOL other than that fantastic rifles!
