I started it out with a LH browning a-bolt micro hunter in 308
Brought a Stainless Match Grade Barrel with a 1:9 twist chambered in 260 rem with a varmint contour
here is the end product
24 inch barrel, leupold rings and bases with Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 Scope
finally my LH 260 Rem is built

very nice. Likely to do that calibre in a sporter barrel on a M70. Like to hear how your load development goes and what pojies you pick to hunt with.

smith made a load up so i had ammo if a hunt came up
44gr of win-760 federal Magnum primer rem brass and 120gr Corelokt (which sadly are no longer made,However i have 1000 of them to use up) that load gave him 1/2 inch at 100yrds
