Re: new 22....
BB,
Heeey...I own one of those
But jeez...... yours is in good nick
I Have owned mine for about 20 years and .....well ...I must admit I haven't been kind to it.
It's main purpose was a pig trap gun and spent it's life bouncing around the ute's dash or floor then getting it's muzzle chewed or hammered by the odd porker through the mesh when popping them off.
Just last week I started to clean the old girl up by shortening the barrel and fitting a tuner......a new laminated thumbhole is on the cards now too as I had never tried to see just how well it shot before this....and yep it shoots pretty good....well with Eley target ammo, and Win Subsonics anyway.
Great to see another one about....now I know of two

Re: new 22....
Well fellas i took the little plinker to the range today to see what it likes eating.....
i took around 9 different boxes with me to try...
from what i can see it likes federal gold medal, winchester super X subs and winchester T22's...
im not much of a target shooter so i am very happy with the results... and im not much good at measuring groups so if you want to tell me (roughly) what size they are that would be appreciated...they were all shot at 50m and 5 shot groups.
i didnt realise how much inexpensive fun you can have with these little gems....
this group was shot with federal gold medal....i pulled the last shot of the group
this one with winchester T22's
and this one with winchester super X subs
Cheers BB
