Anyone own one on this forum?
What is the max effective range for this cartridge?

Intended use is Rabbits,Hares,Magpies(pest here)
But unsure on bullet weight to think of using.

Mate
I have one coming in a Coopers MTV. It is in Australia, and just waiting for paperwork. Should have it in 2 weeks.
They are a great little caliber in my mind. Very efficient, and out of the 20cals, only 1 of 2 that I would pick. The other choice would be the 20PPC.
Maximum effective range will be around 250m, as the poor little 32grainers will start pulling up. Guys are shooting them longer out though, but hits will be less.
Still, 32Vmax, 18-19 grains of powder for 3700-3800fps. To me, that is unreal performance, and for a rifle to shoot rabbits for crows (like me) a great choice. Running at the high end, brass may suffer, but for me, I plan on the 3700fps mark..
Redding make dies, cases easy to form, not hard on the barrel, cheap to run!
When I chose this caliber, it was for shooting up in the trees, where if I miss, I want it to lose velocity and range quickly. Also, want it flat shooting!
From what I have heard, guys that shoot these love them!
Cheers
