G'day fox shooter, I have just put a 6mm BR barrel on a vanguard action that was a .243.
Feeding is not an issue at all, slow or fast picks up and chambers faultlessly.
For info, barrel is 27" shillen select match grade, 14" twist and zero free bore.
I got this set up to shoot 55 gr ballistic tips in the spotlight for culling purposes only.
35 grains of BM2 is giving 3850 fps. So far I am very impressed, does the job wonderfully.
I may try the 70 gr BT's at a later date as the 14" twist will stabalise them.
HTH.

So Fox shooter is there any update on this one??
you might want to go a bit quicker twist than 1:14 for general vermin and feral shooting
I had Shane cut and shut a Tikka factory 243 barrel for my 6 BR- will work fine with everything from 55 grain to 95 grain- think the twist is 1:10.
works great with the 65 V-max- paddock pizza

Mate
I have a 6mm BR reamer for lapua brass with a no turn neck (.272) with 65 freebore
it's designed for a varmint gun more so that a comp gun.
It will still work with all projectile weights as thats a function of barrel twist rate not so much reamer/chamber but the freebore is more setup for 55-90 grain projectiles.
It will work with all projectiles just the long HPBT ones for target shooting will be further in the case if you still want to jump to the lands with them.
Reamers setup for comp projectiles AFIK have a freebore of 90 to 113 or anywhere in between
Mine likes 65 V-max and 70 TNT or 70 NBTS- The 65's really make some nice paddock pizza but are still heavy enough to drop a goat etc if you come across one while out and about
If you are going for mainly bigger things like dogs, goats, pigs I'd step upto the 75 Vm or better still the 85 Speer SPBT.
The Speer has a BC over .4 and really holds it's velocity and energy well.
Also
I'd be willing to lend you (read a competant G-smith like SC) the reamer when the time comes if you want
