One of these
I shot a few rabbits with it before the owner took it of me
Sako L46 22 Hornet Manlicker
It is a rifle of my dreams
But not my wallet maybe if I talk nice to the owner he might let me shoot it again
The two rabbits I shot were at 100 and the second at around 181
So for a 72 year oldrifle it still works

Its not that easy to join the Old Boys Club, one has to be nominated and of course there is the baksheesh to be paid, in this case a noice hornet

Hey Johno I don't know about you but I got at least another year to go to even think about being a old boy.

Hey Johnno ole mate
isn't this supposed to be the Varminting section & not the Seniors Club of who's who in the age stakes.

a couple of yrs ago,dad had a very nice sporterized [slightly] 303 converted to a 243.
that was a real nice rifle, reminded me of a JC in its looks.
the bugga took it to a gunshop in beresfield with a couple of others he wanted to sell.[on consignment]
he never got a call from them and never got paid for them,he all but forgot about em till last yr when i was down.
he doesnt know what to do about it now,he figures its been to long and has written the rifles off.

Theres a cheap one on used guns. They must be pretty common.
I've got a 22 hornet sporter version. You can get the leupold 3x9 x 33 AO to fit in front of the rear mount for a better scope position.

Just unsure what you consider cheap.
