Bruce the case forming will use a 4o gn pill in normal 20br loads so shouldn't have any outstanding velocity figures.

I may well try some 40s in formed cases just to see how fast they go but I had it built to fire the 55gn bergers. I hoping they exceed 3700fps otherwise the higher BC is diluted by the lower velocity.

I had 55gr bergers doing 3750 out of a 20x47 and had to stop due to a sloppy savage firing pin fit. I think you have a good change of getting there.

Seddo I see US owners reporting that speed frequently so high expectations

Marcus I don't have any appts tomorrow arvo but don't have the cash till Friday. Wonder if Luke is happy with credit card? All the bits were paid for as I got them so just owe him for the work and scope

Looks great trevort. Good choice in colors of the stock. I luv timber stocks but think mcmillan marble stocks look equally good.
